Tammy Slaton is soaking up the sun while showing off her 440-lb weight loss in a mermaid-inspired swimsuit.

Slaton, 37, lounged poolside with friend and psychic Haley Michelle, who captioned the summery snap, "Proud of you 💙#tammyslatonweightloss." Slaton wore a deep turquoise swimsuit with an iridescent design that looked like scales on a mermaid tail. The 1000-Lb. Sisters star dipped her feet in the water in the rare full-body photo, pairing the low-cut swimwear with a silver necklace while looking at her pal with a smile on her face. (Michelle, for her part, donned a black and white one-piece while smiling back at Slaton.) The two have been teasing a potential storyline on 1000-Lb. Sisters and have used social media to discuss their girls' trip.

TLC fans, meanwhile, immediately took to the comments section of the Instagram post to shower Slaton with compliment after compliment.

"I know that Tammy must be so proud of herself. She fought the hard fight and made it when so many people wrote her off," one user wrote. "Congrats girl!"
