Cooper went public with her pregnancy in May, debuting her bump in an Instagram slideshow.

“Our family 🤍,” she captioned the maternity shoot snaps at the time.

This happened “as more and more time went on, [the couple] traveled and [they] accomplished certain goals [they] had set.”

Cooper recalled telling her partner, “The only thing that feels like it’s truly missing right now is a child and starting our own family together. And I have never felt more ready.”

The former Barstool Sports personality told Kaplan the news by handing him a positive pregnancy test, telling him she hoped he liked his “gift” because it “was non-refundable.”

She remembered, “He looked so shocked. And then we both started crying. We didn’t even say anything in that moment. There were just no words. He pulled me onto his lap. We were hugging and kissing and crying.”

The couple subsequently “had the most incredible night that [she] will forever and always cherish.”

As previously reported, Cooper and Kaplan had been battling rumors that their marriage was on the rocks, which she addressed during the episode.

“No one in our life, our closest friends, our family, is wondering those things,” she said, calling the speculation “an odd part of the job that [she doesn’t] enjoy.”

Cooper and Kaplan met on a Zoom call in 2020 and started dating after a business dinner.

The businessman popped the question in 2023, and the Unwell Network co-founders walked down the aisle in Mexico in April of the following year.

In 2025, Cooper explained why she wasn’t yet “ready” to have kids.

“I really wanted to prioritize our relationship,” she said on her podcast. “I wanted to prioritize work and I wanted, honestly, most importantly, to prioritize myself. And overall, I just felt like I needed a little bit more time … to tackle motherhood.”
