After years of calling his shot, Bryce Henry is now the unequivocal No. 1 contender in the BKFC welterweight division.
Henry entered his main event matchup with Carlos Trinidad-Snake two months removed from the biggest win of his career over former welterweight champion Julian Lane. The victory padded his resume, but it only came as the result of a disqualification at the end of an awkward, grimy fight.
A win over Trinidad-Snake, whose only previous loss came against former champion Austin Lane, would cement his title hopes.
Trinidad-Snake and Henry entered the main event matchup ranked No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, in the 165-pound division, making it a bona fide BKFC world title eliminator. It was a coin-flip matchup on paper, but Henry made it look like a total mismatch.
Bryce Henry dominates, knocks out Carlos Trinidad-Snake
Despite the difficult task at hand, a lot of fans were siding with Bryce Henry against Carlos Trinidad-Snake in the BKFC Mohegan Sun main event. Even the most confident backers could not have expected the complete beatdown that 'Baba Yaga' delivered.
Henry started the fight doing exactly what he always does — establishing his range, pumping his jab and keeping his opponent at the end of his punches. Henry's jab was on fire from the moment he first let it go and put Trinidad-Snake in a bind.
Trinidad-Snake also tends to prefer to outbox his opponents from the outside, but he could not get anything going against the masterful 6-foot-3 boxer standing in front of him. Henry's jab only got faster and more damaging throughout the fight until he used it to set up a perfect right hand to score a knockdown in the second round.
Trinidad-Snake barely beat the 10 count seconds before another right hand separated him from consciousness against the ropes.

— Bare Knuckle FC (@bareknucklefc) August 22, 2026Henry became the first fighter to stop Trinidad-Snake with his eye-opening performances. He outlanded the Omaha native 28-15 and exited another bare-knuckle fight without even a scratch on his face.
Still just 25, Henry called out BKFC welterweight champion Dustin Pague and interim titleholder Rico Franco in the ring after the fight. He continued to shoot even higher, calling BKFC middleweight king David Mundell "easy money" and asking to fight Lorenzo Hunt if nobody else agreed to toe the line against him.
Joseph Creer pitches shutout in BKFC Mohegan Sun co-main event
Four months after dominating on the road in the BKFC Honolulu co-main event, Joseph Creer found himself in a similar position against Cody Vidal at the Mohegan Sun. Creer was a slight underdog against 'The Knucklemaniac' but pitched a perfect game and cemented himself as a light heavyweight contender.
The taller, longer Creer kept Vidal at the end of his range all fight and picked him apart with a constant flow of punches. Creer completely dismantled Vidal's face and shut him down to the point where the 37-year-old did not want to throw punches and open up his guard.

— Bare Knuckle FC (@bareknucklefc) August 22, 2026Creer's stick-and-move game plan worked to a tee, and Vidal could never get out of first gear. 'The Dark Knight' officially landed 166 punches, per the BKFC stats, and swept all five rounds on two of the three judges' scorecards.
The 44-year-old Creer entered the fight unranked but will likely find himself as a top-five 185-pound contender after dominating the No. 3-ranked Vidal.
Kris Moutinho wins BKFC debut with impressive TKO
Kris Moutinho is one of the few fighters to gain a cult following from a 0-4 UFC run. Although the 34-year-old clearly reached his ceiling in MMA, he might have a new path to stardom in the BKFC.
Moutinho made his bare-knuckle boxing debut on the BKFC Mohegan Sun main card against 40-year-old Michigan native Michael Hernandez. He entered the fight as a 3-1 favorite, a number that raised some eyebrows given his unsuccessful UFC tenure. Yet, Moutinho made it look far too close in a completely dominant performance.
Moutinho was on Hernandez from the gun, landing 100 punches and scoring a pair of knockdowns before the third-round stoppage.

— Bare Knuckle FC (@bareknucklefc) August 21, 2026Moutinho was outstruck in all four of his UFC fights, absorbing a ludicrous 9.36 significant strikes per minute. He looked like a completely different fighter in BKFC and has seemingly found his niche.
