T-Pain, Simu Liu, deadmau5, YOASOBI and more celebrities will be making special appearances for the return of Blizzard’s BlizzCon fan event this September in Anaheim, California.
Presented by Blizzard Entertainment, the video game studio behind franchises including “World of Warcraft,” “Diablo IV,” “Overwatch 2,” “StarCraft” and “Hearthstone,” BlizzCon brings players together from around the world for a weekend of games, announcements, hands-on gaming experiences, esports, developer panels and cosplay.
Over the course of the Sept. 12-13 event, the first BlizzCon in three years, Blizzard has confirmed it will welcome singer T-Pain for the Overwatch World Cup game, actor Liu as a player in the Blizzard Classic Cup StarCraft II Entertainment Match, and deadmau5 in attendance at a “Diablo”-focused panel featuring game developers.
Additionally, gaming influencer Duke Dennis will join “World of Warcraft” activations during the weekend and participate in community engagements and creator experiences on the show floor, while Khleo Thomas, known as Zero in “Holes” before he was a streamer, will attend as the “BlizzCon Insider” to provide behind-the-scenes footage for fans.
To mark the first BlizzCon executed under Xbox management (the event has not been held since November 2023, which was just after Microsoft closed its $75.4 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard), the developer has also set multiple musical performances. International music duo YOASOBI will be performing at BlizzCon’s first-ever esports halftime show in the Overwatch World Cup Arena on Sept. 13, and, as previously announced, returning K-pop sensation LE SSERAFIM (who performed at BlizzCon in 2023) will act as the weekend’s closing main-stage musical act.
BlizzCon 2026 will take place Sept. 12-13 at the Anaheim Convention Center. BlizzCon Passes are officially sold out but may become available on the Tixr public resale market. BlizzCon says the opening ceremony, panels across both days of the show, and esports competitions will also be livestreamed.
