A luxury diaper brand is in hot water following a shocking Consumer Reports investigation.
The site warned that Millie Moon has been tied to more than 600 incident reports submitted to the Consumer Product Safety Commission this year alone, according to Consumer Reports’ review of the agency’s public database, SaferProducts.gov.
“Parents describe rashes, redness, swelling, blisters, peeling, and other skin reactions,” the warning notes. “Numerous reports describe medical treatment, including at least three emergency room visits.”
According to Consumer Reports’ review, no other diaper brand has this amount of complaints over the same period. The report even urged the company to consider recalling its diapers based on the startling findings.
Fortunately, there are plenty of safe alternatives — including trusted, pediatrician-backed household names like Huggies and Pampers that come at a far more affordable price point and are available at popular retailers like Amazon.
In fact, Pampers Swaddlers packs are currently up to 40% off when you opt into Subscribe & Save (which, of course, you can cancel at any time).
Pampers Swaddlers Diapers
AmazonFragrance-free, hypoallergenic and dermatologically approved by the Skin Health Alliance, Pampers Swaddlers are among the most trusted diapers on the market. They are completely free of parabens, chlorine and latex.
Some parents have said they noticed a big difference on their baby’s delicate skin.
“I absolutely love Pampers Swaddlers!” one parent shared. “They are soft, comfortable and gentle on my baby’s delicate skin. The absorbency is great, and they help keep my baby dry and comfortable throughout the day and night.”
Others noted that these diapers work wonders for babies prone to eczema and have helped them get rid of stubborn diaper rashes. Plus, the innovative Dual Leak-Guard Barriers and Blowout Barrier design help make cleanups easier.
As with any baby product, be sure to consult your child’s pediatrician prior to making a switch — especially if your little one has any specific conditions.
