Elizabeth Holmes’ fiancé Billy Evans thinks Jonah Hill would have been a better choice to portray him in “You Can See Everything.”
The hotel heir weighed in on his Hollywood casting during a Q&A on X after a fan asked whether he thought Christopher Abbott, who plays him in the hit documentary, was “miscast.”
When another fan responded and said, “shoulda been jonah hill,” Evans agreed.
“I agree,” he wrote alongside a gif of the actor in “The Wolf of Wall Street.”
Abbott portrays Evans, 34, opposite Amanda Seyfried, who plays the disgraced Theranos founder, in reenactments featured throughout the A24 film.
One particularly controversial scene depicts Evans pushing the filmmakers for a share of the documentary’s profits.
The reenactment painted Evans, 34, as the “villain” of the film to many viewers, though producers clarified before credits rolled that he ended up surrendering any share of the film’s profits.
Last month, however, Page Six Hollywood exclusively learned that Evans has been seeking legal representation, and contacted high-powered attorneys about potentially securing a cut of the film’s earnings.
An insider told us Evans believed he was entitled to a percentage of the profits, which he might ultimately donate to charity.
It remains unclear whether Evans intends to pursue legal action.
Directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, “You Can See Everything” follows Holmes during the 34 days leading up to her prison sentence for fraud.

The film captures Holmes’ life at home with Evans before her incarceration, with Fielder — who also appears in the documentary — questioning whether the former Silicon Valley darling is genuinely opening up or attempting to rehabilitate her public image.
After Holmes begins serving her sentence, the filmmakers continue developing the project over the next three years, incorporating reenactments starring Seyfried and Abbott that blur the lines between fact and fiction.
The unconventional documentary has become a box-office smash, grossing $64.9 million worldwide against a reported $7 million production budget.
Evans has also spoken publicly about the film, admitting during an Oct. 14 appearance on the “All-In” podcast that Holmes “looks insane” in its trailer.
“It’s pretty intense, especially the music,” he said, revealing that he had not yet watched the documentary.
“There’s definitely concern, but ultimately it’s our decision,” he added.
