Authorities continue to search for the gunman who opened fire inside a packed Bay Area Halloween store Friday, killing a pregnant woman and injuring six others.
Constance Hages, 31, died at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds after the gunfire erupted inside Spirit Halloween at Solano Town Center in Fairfield around 8:30 p.m., police said.
Family members told investigators she was a mother of four and pregnant when she was killed.

Law enforcement officials have not released a confirmed identity or detailed description of the shooter. The motive behind the shooting also remains unclear.
Jocelyn Lopez Tabares, 15, and her 23-year-old sister were picking up last-minute accessories for their costumes Friday night when a barrage of shots erupted. The teen recorded the incident on her phone.
“I just had a feeling to do it… to record for evidence,” she told The California Post. “And then after I stopped the video, I called my mom, because what if I wasn’t going to make it out of there?”
The video captured by Tabares shows sheer panic inside the store, showing terrified shoppers diving between clothing racks and scrambling for cover.
Authorities confirmed that six victims were injured during the deadly shooting.
A 16-year-old boy, a 19-year-old man, and a 32-year-old man were also wounded in the attack and remain hospitalized in critical condition. A fourth victim, a 23-year-old man, was listed in critical but stable condition.
Two other victims, aged 19 and 43, were treated for gunshot wounds and discharged from the hospital on Saturday.
Fairfield police stated that preliminary evidence points to a “targeted incident” involving a lone suspect who fled the area before officers arrived.
“Based on preliminary information obtained during the investigation, the shooting is believed to have stemmed from a targeted incident involving one suspect inside the Spirit Halloween store,” the department said in a social media statement.
The FBI’s Sacramento field office deployed its Evidence Response Team Friday to assist the Fairfield Police Department with processing the sprawling crime scene at the Solano Town Center.
