The motive for the shooting remains unclear. Police described the suspect as a Hispanic male but released no further details.

A witness told KTLA the gunman appeared to target two people before accidentally striking another victim.

“It all happened so fast,” the witness said. “This guy pulls out a gun from his waist and aims at one person – boom – then he turned around to get another guy, but he totally missed and got someone else in the back.”

In the chaotic aftermath, multiple partygoers were seen fleeing the building in a panic as police swarmed the shopping plaza.
