Miami Heat star and former Golden State Warriors legend Klay Thompson is still a few months removed from his very public breakup with Megan Thee Stallion.

But it doesn’t sound like Thompson will have trouble in his dating life.

Nick Young, who was Thompson’s teammate on the Warriors during the 2017-18 season, praised Thompson’s romance chops during his appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast earlier this week.

“But I think the best thing that happened to [Thompson] was his breakup, for sure. He needed that,” Young said.

“Klay had the best [dating roster]. The way y’all treat Klay, but his if you look at Klay’s [dating] lineup,” Young added while gesturing with his hands to emphasize the length of Thompson’s dating list.

“His portfolio nice?” asked Sharpe.

“Klay get ’em. He quiet, but Klay gets ’em. I’m like, ‘Klay, you had that?’ ‘Had her on the boat. Her her on the boat!’ That’s what he said. ‘Had her on the boat!'” Young continued.

Thompson has had several high-profile romantic partners in addition to Megan Thee Stallion.

He dated influencer Hannah Stocking for a while nearly a decade ago, had a romance with actor and model Laura Harrier from 2018 to 2020, and was rumored to be dating Coco Jones (who is now engaged to Cleveland Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell) from around 2021 to 2023.

Thompson’s boat appears to be a source of satisfaction for him, in more ways than one.
