Regardless of how well the 49ers are playing, they still can’t move on from the strange Daejon Love saga from before the regular season began.

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson seems keen to remind people of this bizarre story about a man pretending to be a 49ers receiver to swindle money from more than two dozen women.

On Wednesday, photos of Jackson’s new Instagram profile picture began surfacing. It shows a photo of Love wearing a Ravens skull cap, which is an edited photo that initially showed the fake wide receiver wearing a 49ers skull cap.

To be fair, Jackson probably wasn’t intentionally trolling the 49ers by changing his profile picture to an edited photo of Love. He likely just did so because he thought it was funny.

But San Francisco’s franchise and fan base would prefer that this story ends as soon as possible, and Jackson spotlighting it again will raise eyebrows.

The Ravens and the 49ers don’t face each other this season and would only match up in the postseason if it was at the Super Bowl.

Yet, given the 49ers’ 3-0 start and Baltimore being 2-1 with one of the league’s best backfields and an easy schedule over the next three weeks, both teams could position themselves well for prime postseason position.
