LIV appears to be dead.
It never stood a chance.
Not in its newly proposed LIV 2.0 iteration — even when it was going to be financially propped up by the BC Partners investment group, which had pledged $300 million to save the controversial fledgling tour.
The $300 million BC Partners had supposedly put up to keep LIV alive seemed like a paltry number considering its top players were commanding that kind of sum as a signing bonus.
