Meghan Markle’s “MasterChef Junior Australia” co-star, Poh Ling Yeow, is in her corner.
The 52-year-old defended the Duchess of Sussex, 45, while chatting with “Pedestrian TV” Wednesday about how their upcoming project is “the ultimate clapback” to previous reports they clashed while filming “MasterChef Australia.”
Yeow quipped, “Eat that, people.”
She went on to praise Markle for having a “will of steel” amid criticism from “insatiable and horrible” haters.
“I just have even more admiration for her,” Yeow said.
She added that “the fallout” from the last time she worked with Markle — on a “MasterChef Australia” episode that filmed in April and aired in July — was “really crazy” to navigate.
Yeow acknowledged that “rumors just follow” the “Suits” alum before noting, “I guess I was latently experiencing it because some of it even came my way but, like, it’s fine.”

A slew of social media users dubbed Yeow’s remarks “corporate speak” as she is “under contract … to say nice things” about her colleague — while others praised her for having Markle’s back.
Page Six confirmed Tuesday that Yeow and Markle would be working together again, with the actress nabbing a “special guest” role in “MasterChef Junior Australia.”
In a press release, Markle gushed that taking part was an “easy yes.”
She explained, “I love cooking with my own kids, [Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet], so seeing what these young stars create in the kitchen is going to be a lot of fun. I can’t wait to see what they cook up!”
Yeow, for her part, wrote that reuniting with Markle would be a “real treat” as they had a “lovely time” the first go around.
Although SkyNews reported over the summer that Markle and Yeow butted heads filming “MasterChef Australia” — over the latter falsely referring to the “With Love, Meghan” alum as “royalty” — Page Six dispelled those rumors.
The duo “had a great time” on set, an insider told us at the time, insisting, “There was no frustration on Meghan’s side about anything that was said on set.”
While it is unclear when exactly Yeow and Markle will be reuniting for “MasterChef Junior Australia,” episodes are set to come out in 2027.
Markle is currently away from her and Prince Harry’s England home as they travel with their little ones during the October half-term break.
Their getaway, we hear, has been a “convenient opportunity to let headlines settle” as Meghan’s dad, Thomas Markle Sr., being investigated by Philippines police for alleged possession of child pornography — which the 82-year-old has denied as “sick lies.”
Meghan, meanwhile, wrote in a statement that the “deeply distress[ing]” claims may help the public understand her years-long estrangement from her father and her “choice to not allow him to have contact with [her] children.”
