Meta launched Muse, its new AI agent, earlier this month — and it's already claiming to help some consumers save money.

At the 2026 Meta Connect conference, Meta Chief AI Officer Alexandr Wang spoke about Muse's ability to shop for products online, manage travel plans, save money on insurance costs, negotiate utility bills, and more. 

Now, he's challenging people to use Muse to save them $1,000 in what he's dubbed the #MuseMoneyChallenge on X. With the agent's help, users can do everything from create a budget to cancel unused subscriptions.
