Mo’Nique has signed with Innovative Artists Entertainment for representation in all areas, Variety has learned. She continues to be repped by attorney Ricky Anderson and manager Sidney Hicks.

Mo’Nique first broke out as a stand up comic, including being one of the stars of the stand up film “The Queens of Comedy.” She earned a Grammy nomination for best spoken comedy album for the film. She also made notable appearances on shows like “Showtime at the Apollo” and “Def Comedy Jam.” Her stand up specials include “I Could Have Been Your Cellmate” and “Mo’Nique & Friends: Live from Atlanta” for Showtime and “My Name is Mo’Nique” for Netflix.

As an actor, Mo’Nique is best known for her critically-acclaimed role in the hit film “Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire.” She was nominated for and won the Academy Award for best supporting actress, as well as a Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild Award, Critics’ Choice Award, BAFTA Award, and Image Award, among many other accolades.

She also appeared in films like “Domino,” “Farce of the Penguins,” “Beerfest,” and “Phat Girlz.” She recently appeared in “The Deliverance” for Netflix, which reunited her with Lee Daniels.

In television, Mo’Nique appeared in multiple episodes of “Moesha,” which led to her starring in the hit spinoff series “The Parkers” for five seasons. She also played the same character, Nikki Parker, in “The Hughleys.” She also hosted the BET talk show “The Mo’Nique Show” for two seasons and over 250 episodes. Her other TV roles include “Black Mafia Family,” the HBO movie “Bessie,” and “Ugly Betty.”
