They were really revved up.

NASCAR driver Jennifer Jo Cobb was caught having “rambunctious” sex with her married paramour in a hotel room by a private detective hired by his suspicious wife — six years before Cobb was ordered to pay the jilted woman $850,000 for the affair.

Jim Rorie told a court in North Carolina how he heard Cobb, 53, and 58-year-old Clayton Odie Hughes romping around in their Comfort Inn room in October 2020 — leaving him with no doubt what was happening behind closed doors.

Rorie said he heard “the squeaking of the bed, quite a bit of that, female tones moaning — and occasionally a male’s voice.

“There was no doubt about what I was hearing,” he added.

As time went on, the dalliance in Martinsville, Virginia, “got a little more rambunctious,” he recalled.

“As the squeaking continued, the tones of a male moaning and saying ‘Oh f–k’ and ‘Oh my God’ were distinctly heard,” Rorie said.

“I believe there was one point where I heard the female yell, ‘Don’t stop.'”

Rorie was hired by Hughes’ wife Tracey, 63, to keep tabs on her husband, according to a criminal complaint obtained by the Daily Mail.

The private dick used a tracking device on Clayton’s Toyota Camry to follow him to the hotel, where he then booked the room next to Hughes.

He watched through his peephole as Cobb arrived an hour later.

After pulling back a dresser and sticking his ear to the wall, Rorie said there was “no doubt” that he was hearing the pair have sex.

Rorie’s bombshell testimony came as part of Tracey’s lawsuit against Cobb for alienation of affection and criminal conversation under North Carolina’s so-called “homewrecker law.”

Cobb, who had been married to fellow racing driver Eddie Troconis but was separated at the time of the affair in October 2020, was found liable for the affair and ordered to pay $850,000 in damages.

When Troconis found out about Cobb’s relationship with Clayton, he assaulted her new man at an Alabama racing event in 2021 and was convicted of assault the following year, the Daily Home reported at the time.

The jury found Cobb “willfully, intentionally, and deliberately seduced, enticed, and alienated the affections” of Hughes, ordering her to pay far more than the $50,000 minimum damages sought by Tracey.

Tracey accused the NASCAR driver of destroying her marriage, calling and texting her husband while traveling to races to set up secret liaisons.

The divorcee said she “suffered the loss of support, injury to [her] feelings and reputation, and had her marital relationship destroyed,” by the affair.

Clayton was working as Cobb’s spotter and had spoken to his wife about getting a divorce about a month before the incident, but was still living with Tracey, the court was told.

Cobb had argued that since Clayton and Tracey had separated in September 2020, a month before the affair began, she wasn’t liable for what happened.

But because their separation wasn’t formalized until January 2021, Cobb was ultimately found liable.

Tracey and Clayton, who had two sons together, divorced in 2022. Cobb and Clayton remain in a relationship.

Cobb, originally from Kansas City, retired in 2024 after a decades-long career as a NASCAR driver.

An attorney for the former driver was not immediately identified.
