It’s big all right.

A hiker snapped photos of what she believed was a mythical upstate New York Bigfoot — but critics claim the so-called “Syracuse Figure” may just be an elderly, overweight skinny dipper.

An unidentified 25-year-old snapped two photos of the pot-bellied beast as she was hiking near a pond in an undisclosed slice of wilderness in Onondaga County, though some are dismissing the eerie snaps and saying the amateur photographer may have been an unwitting Peeping Tom.

“It really looked inhuman,” the woman reported to Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization, which investigates Sasquatch sightings, according to Fox News.

The woman, who BFRO identified only by the initials KD, said she was alone when she arrived at the glacial pond around 1 p.m. on Aug. 10. She allegedly spotted someone wading in the water and initially assumed it was a naked man — until the figure snapped its head around and stared at her in a way she described as unnervingly strange.

She left in a panic and snapped a photo on her way out, the outlet reported.

A BFRO “investigator,” identified only as Ben C., later tried to recreate the photos himself but said it was nearly impossible, according to the report.

It took him 10 to 15 minutes just to wade to the spot through debris, roots and waist-deep mud, while becoming scratched up from the debris in the process — a feat he argued would be tough for “a presumed naked and elderly man,” the report read.

Using his own 6-foot frame as a reference point, Ben C. estimated the figure was about 4-feet-9 inches tall — extremely small for a normal human male — and pointed to what he called a visible brow ridge as evidence toward it being a juvenile Sasquatch rather than a skinny dipper.

Fellow investigator Matthew Moneymaker — who shot down claims that another investigator, Snake the Bigfoot Hunter, found a Sasquatch corpse in New York — went a step further, suggesting what looked like sagging skin in the photos could actually be wet fur, and cited recent reports of “mini-bigfoots” spotted in Pennsylvania in mid-August.

Some online, however, weighed in on the photos with many displaying skepticism towards the figure being a real Sasquatch and instead believe it to be an old, hairy man skinny dipping.

“I’ve never seen a more obvious picture of an old guy,” said one X user.

“Oh for f–k’s sake that’s some hairy dude with man boobs doing a little catfish noodling,” another added.
