WASHINGTON — Star Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey will join President Trump later Tuesday when the commander in chief announces a new submarine facility for Charm City.
Humphrey, a 10-year NFL veteran who has spent his entire career with the Ravens, will meet with Trump ahead of his remarks at Sparrows Point. The two men are expected to discuss Humphrey’s charity work along with their shared passion for football and golf.
“Marlon Humphrey is a great talent, player, and leader for the Ravens,” Trump adviser Alex Bruesewitz told The Post. “He is also widely respected in the locker room and the city of Baltimore.”

The new facility will manufacture critical components for the Virginia-class submarine, part of the administration’s push to highlight its jobs and manufacturing record ahead of the Nov. 3 midterm elections.
The shipyard will cover about 2 million square feet on 187 acres — about the size of 40 football fields.

But with polls showing voters are worried about the economy, the White House is emphasizing its job creation record in blue-collar industries, insisting that manufacturing employment is on the rebound.
As part of that push, Trump has announced a new steel plant in Iowa and a natural gas pipeline in Alaska in the past few weeks.
The president has repeatedly said he wants to see the Navy invest in building more ships and signed an executive order in April 2025 aimed at rebuilding the country’s maritime industrial base.
Tradepoint Atlantic is behind one of the largest industrial redevelopment projects in the Baltimore region. The former Bethlehem Steel facility site has been transformed into an industrial area with warehouses, manufacturing and distribution operations.
Tradepoint also handles much of the freight for the port of Baltimore, one of the 20 busiest ports in the US.
