An Alabama sicko accused of decapitating his grandmother and aunt with a chainsaw flashed a toothy grin in his chilling mugshot.

Thomas Steele, 47, was arrested and charged with two counts of murder after cops found Christy Deloach, 65, and Dora Boone, 85, headless inside their home in Mobile on Monday, according to a court complaint obtained by NBC 15.

The gruesome discovery came hours after his aunt called 911 to report her nephew had begun “doing some bizarre things” after going off his medication, FOX 10 reported.

“[He’s] off his medication for Lithium and I’m not sure who to call or contact. He gave away his phone…and giving his car away. Um, he’s doing some bizarre things,” his aunt said in the call, cited by the station.

When the operator asked if she needed help at around 11 a.m. Monday, she said that he’s bipolar and, “It’s in his mind. He’s following God.”

She added, “He’s calm! He’s not violent or anything. So, I guess I’ll just let it play itself out.”

Police were then called to the four-bedroom home roughly two and a half hours later — and found Steele’s aunt and grandmother dead inside, according to the Mobile Police Department.

Steele was allegedly waiting outside after the women had been killed and decapitated with a chainsaw, according to FOX 10.

“What we know is or what we believe is that he lived at this residence with these family members when they were both killed,” Mobile County District Attorney Keith Blackwood said at a court hearing Tuesday, according to NBC 15.

Steele was asked by a judge, during a bond hearing Tuesday, if he had a lawyer to which he replied “No.”

When the judge assigned him a public defender, Steele snapped, “No. Kill him!”

“It was clear that he was probably still in a state of psychosis,” Glenn Davidson, the public defender assigned to Steele, told The Post Wednesday. “That was him standing next to me talking through his mental illness.”

Davidson — who plans to represent Steele despite the unhinged threat — said his client needs to be evaluated by a doctor to see if he’s mentally competent to proceed.

Asked if a not guilty by reason of insanity plea could be on the table, Davidson replied, “I can’t say for sure … but all signs indicate yes.”

“It was really apparent from the outset that he has mental issues,” he added.

Steele had not yet entered a plea Wednesday.
