Xbox Game Pass subscribers can now install and play Rebellion's Sniper Elite 5, which drops Karl Fairburne into the events of D-Day to put a stop to another despicable Nazi plot... and shoot Hitler in the nuts, of course.

If you've been waiting patiently to help the series' main man, Karl Fairburne, once again, then you'll need not wait any longer because Sniper Elite 5 is now available for all Xbox Game Pass subscribers on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows PC.

Sniper Elite 5 launches on Xbox today

When the Sniper Elite 5 achievements offer you another reason to shoot Hitler in his baby-makers, it's hard to come up with a reason not to play it, and luckily you can play it today. Taking you to France in 1944, Sniper Elite 5 sees series protagonist Karl Fairburne attempt to thwart another Nazi plot and put an end to the evil mastermind behind it. The campaign features real-world locations, side missions, a host of collectables, co-op functionality, and more. If you want to be challenged a little more, you can turn on Invasion Mode, which will allow other players to drop into your campaign as enemy snipers. Building on the series' main features, Rebellion has upgraded the popular Kill Cam, added cross-play functionality, given Fairburne new traversal mechanics, and improved the weapon customisation feature.

Sniper Elite 5 launches today for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Steam, the Windows Store, Xbox Game Pass, and PC Game Pass. The reviews are now in, and it looks like the general consensus is very positive, with many noting that the series' core features are still there and thriving.

Will you be heading to the battlefields of France to spread fear amongst the Nazi ranks? Let us know down below, soldiers!
