“Star Wars” child star Jake Lloyd made a rare appearance on Instagram, three years after his psychotic break, to thank fans of the franchise.

The 37-year-old actor stood beside Daniel Logan, 39 — who played Boba Fett in the 2002 prequel “Attack of the Clones” — in a video posted on Wednesday, and wrote, “A little message from Jake and [me].”

“We want to send a special message to each and every one of our Star Wars fans to let you know, ‘thank you so much,'” Logan said in the video.

Lloyd — who played a young version of Anakin Skywalker in the 1999 prequel, “The Phantom Menace” — nodded along before adding, “Very, very much so.”

“I really appreciate that time,” the former child star added, referring to being 8 years old while filming the first prequel movie.

The pair later uploaded an additional video on Thursday that showed them joking around together and posing for a photo.

Logan also addressed the backlash and bullying he and Lloyd experienced as child actors in the famous franchise.

“Since [we were] kids we’ve been [subjected] to bullying from adults name calling online and in person,” Logan added to the post’s caption.

“I really appreciate that time,” he shared in the video posted on social media, referring to being an 8-year-old child acting in the famous franchise.

“The limelight has been hard for both of us as kids,” Logan shared.

Logan continued his caption, sharing how the backlash he and Lloyd received both as children and currently has affected them both.

“I’ve only brought positivity to this franchise and I’m trying to bring Jake back to the SW universe only [to] get backlash.”

“We are [subjected] to hate and negativity for the rest of our lives,” he captioned the photo. “They say it [comes] with the territory but an 8 year old and 13 year old have no idea what that truly means”

Lloyd suffered a psychotic break in March 2023 while his mother drove him home from McDonald’s. Shortly after, he entered an inpatient treatment program.

His mother, Lisa Lloyd, shared in an interview that her son “said he wanted to turn the car off.”

“He turned the car off in the middle of the three lanes, and we were in the middle lane,” Lisa shared with Scripps News at the time. “There was a lot of yelling and screaming.”

The incident caused a traffic jam, causing onlookers to call the police.

“The police got there, and they asked Jake some questions,” she remembered. “He was talking to them, but none of it made sense. It was all word salad.”

Jake — who was diagnosed with schizophrenia in 2008 — was admitted to the hospital after the incident and shortly after entered a rehabilitation facility for 18 months.

“He’s doing much better than I expected,” Lisa shared at the time. “He is relating to people better and becoming a little bit more social, which is really nice.”

When discussing Jake’s original diagnosis, she shared that “he didn’t tell us he was hearing voices at the time. But he was.”

“When they finally told him [he was schizophrenic], it totally threw him off into an even worse depression. It was really hard.”
