It didn’t take Tarik Skubal long to get comfortable in the Dodgers’ locker room.

The two-time reigning AL Cy Young Award winner has clearly cultivated a close relationship with fellow starter Blake Snell, which manifested in a hilarious social media post on Thursday night.

A music video of Migos’ Quavo and Takeoff “Hotel Lobby” song from 2022 has gone viral because of how the duo dance and rap together.

Countless social media accounts have used AI to swap themselves with the two rappers, making it look as if they’re the ones rapping and dancing.

This is exactly what Skubal and Snell did with an Instagram post about an hour before Los Angeles’ game against the Padres on Thursday, which was captioned, “Lil bro 🥺”.

Skubal will become an unrestricted free agent this offseason. But the amount of fun Skubal seems to be having with his new franchise and teammates — which was shown with this Instagram post — has Dodgers fans convinced they’re going to re-sign the southpaw ace this offseason.

“Tell me Skubs is staying without telling me Skubs is staying 😂,” one Instagram user commented on Skubal and Snell’s post.

“Skubal extension confirmed 😂😂,” another account added.

“please don’t break this up @dodgers 😂,” wrote a third.

Skubal has produced a 4-2 record and a 2.95 ERA in nine starts with the Dodgers since being traded from the Tigers in July.

It will take a lot of money to bring Skubal back this winter. But the Dodgers have money in spades, and perhaps Skubal’s post is proof he wants to stick around in Tinseltown.
