The Texas Longhorns got hit with a notable injury in the first half of Saturday's non-conference finale against UTSA in Austin.

Texas wide receiver Ryan Wingo exited the game and headed off to the locker room with a trainer near the end of the first half after tallying one catch for five yards,

It's unclear when exactly Wingo got hurt. His status remains one to watch during the second half against UTSA, but more importantly, as the Longhorns hit the road for the SEC opener against Tennessee in Knoxville next weekend.

Fortunately, during warmups before the second half, Wingo rejoined the team with his helmet on and was on the field for the first play of the third quarter.
