Thanksgiving Day in the NFL means that spectacular halftime shows are on the menu and this year is no exception
The Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions will both be hosting their traditional Thanksgiving fixtures and they have some top pop talent joining them to keep fans entertained.
This time there will be a third fixture, with Minnesota Vikings facing New England Patriots as prime-time is filled with football to enjoy with turkey and the trimmings.
The Jonas Brothers will be ripping it up at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, as the Cowboys host the New York Giants, while Bebe Rexha with DJ and producer David Guetta will be bringing the entertainment in Detroit as the Lions face the Buffalo Bills.
How to Watch the Jonas Brothers Halftime Show
The Jonas Brothers announced they would be returning to the Cowboys for the halftime show after previously performing there in 2008.
The irony of this year's appearance is that they are huge fans of the Giants, so they will be donning Cowboys shirts against the team they love.
The brothers, who were born in different states, were brought up in New Jersey, not far from the home of the Giants and the Jets.
Despite this, they told fans about the show with their names emblazoned across the back of Cowboys shirts on social media, which may have been done through gritted teeth seeing they are fans of the Cowboys' big rivals.
The performance is part of a charity effort, which is a collaboration between the Dallas Cowboys and the Salvation Army.
This partnership has been running for over 25 years to launch the charitable Red Kettle Campaign.
Previous performers at the Red Kettle Kickoff halftime show have included Destiny's Child, Meghan Trainor, Luke Bryan, Selena Gomez and Kelly Clarkson.
The game kicks off at 4.30 p.m. ET (1.30 p.m. PT) and will be shown on CBS.
Who Are the Jonas Brothers?
The Jonas Brothers rose to fame in the early 2000s when they appeared on the Disney Channel.
When Kevin Jonas turned 18, he formed the band along with brothers Nick and Joe. They instantly became teen idols and over the years they have become one of the nation's most loved pop bands.
In the 2010s, Nick Jonas went off on a solo career, but by the end of the decade he was back with his brothers as they decided to perform together again.
How to Watch Bebe Rexha Halftime Show
Detroit Lions will be hosting the Buffalo Bills and they will have a feast of Grammy Award nominated music at halftime with Bebe Rexha being joined by top DJ and producer David Guetta.
This will be Rexha's first appearance at a Thanksgiving halftime show, though she has performed at a NFL game previously, when she entertained the crowd during the mid-game break between the Falcons and Rams in 2016.
She will be performing before the Jonas Brothers' turn, as the Lions against the Bills kicks off at 12.30 p.m. ET (9.30 a.m. PT) and will be shown on Fox.
Who Is Bebe Rexha?
Pop singer and songwriter Rexha rose to fame after providing vocals for Cash Cash's Take Me Home in 2013.
The singer won an American Music Award in 2018 for Meant to Be alongside Florida Georgia Line, which also brought her three Billboard Music Awards.
Guetta and Rexha have been performing together to promote their song, I'm Good (Blue), which has been gaining momentum in the Billboard Hot 100.
