PHILADELPHIA — It wasn’t easy being an Eagles fan waiting 54 years for a championship, and it isn’t easy being an Eagles fan today.

The older Eagles fans are having an early dinner at Chickie’s & Pete’s, a sports bar just a Ron Jaworski rifle pass away from The Linc.

“Right now it’s a total mess,” Tom Burns was saying. “It’s going in the wrong direction, and it seems like the season’s lost.”

He was speaking hours after news broke that Jalen Hurts has a superficial blood clot in his calf.
