Warner Chappell Music, the publishing arm of Warner Music Group, has announced the promotion of Gabz Landman to executive vice president of A&R. Based at the company’s Los Angeles headquarters, she will continue to report to Ryan Press, President of A&R for North America.

Landman joined Warner Chappell in 2022 and has signed two-time Grammy songwriter of the year (and Variety Hitmakers 2024 songwriter of the year) Amy Allen, Laufey, John Ryan, Madison Beer, Lizzy McAlpine, the Chainsmokers, Delacey, Andrew Wyatt, Daniel Chetrit, Diplo and others.

Landman works closely with Allen, who has scored hits with Olivia Rodrigo, Tate McRae, Sabrina Carpenter, and Olivia Dean. She set up the session for the global smash “So Easy (To Fall in Love),” pairing Allen, Dean, and John Ryan, and is currently working closely with Laufey, Diplo, and Madison Beer on upcoming music. Her inaugural signing, Cal Shapiro, has become a key collaborator with Cameron Whitcomb and Alex Warren, including on the hit single “Ordinary.” Another early signing, Carrie K, recently worked extensively on Noah Kahan’s album and celebrated her first No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart alongside Koe Wetzel and Jessie Murph.

Press said, “Gabz has a natural instinct for spotting and developing talent ahead of the curve, and she brings a 24/7 hustle to everything she does that’s rare to find. Having built some of the strongest relationships in this business, she’s a real advocate for artists and songwriters, and a true leader helping drive Warner Chappell’s growth, both on the charts and culturally. She’s earned this, and I couldn’t be prouder to see this next step.”
