The Philadelphia 76ers' projected starting lineup features four players who averaged more than 20 points per game last season.

Returning stars Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey, and recent trade acquisition Jaylen Brown, each averaged more than 25 points per game in 2025-26. LeBron James averaged just over 20 points per game in his final season with the Los Angeles Lakers.

When the 76ers made these big-name additions, there was immediately some concern regarding the number of mouths to feed in Philadelphia.

Brown was asked about these concerns during his introductory press conference on Thursday.

The five-time All-Star insists he's not concerned about his own personal statistics heading into his first season with the 76ers.

"My focus is winning. At this point in my career, nothing else really moves me. I don't care about the MVP awards, Finals MVP," Brown replied. "The only thing that's gonna move me is a championship."

Brown played much of the 2025-26 season as the Boston Celtics' No. 1 option as Jayson Tatum recovered from his torn Achilles injury. Through 71 games, he averaged a career-high 28.7 points per contest.

The 76ers are one of the leading contenders to win the Eastern Conference this coming season.
