Kelly Clarkson reflected on her “incredible” talk show run after its impressive Daytime Emmys sweep.
“Congratulations to all the winners from The Kelly Clarkson Show! It was an incredible 7 years ❤️,” the musician captioned an Instagram post showing the production team with their awards.
Just two months after “The Kelly Clarkson Show” ended on NBC, the crew attended the 2026 Daytime Emmy Awards on Oct. 30.
It was up for 11 nominations, and snagged five awards, including Outstanding Daytime Talk Series.
Page Six reported in January that the songwriter would be leaving the NBC show, which Clarkson confirmed the following month.
In her statement, the Grammy winner clarified that it wasn’t an “easy decision” for her to make.
She also praised all of her countless fans “who have supported our show” since its premiere in 2019 before thanking NBC for “always being such a supportive and incredible partner.”
Clarkson noted, however, that prioritizing her children — daughter River, 12, and son Remington, 10 — felt “necessary and right for this next chapter of [their] lives.”
The little ones, notably, lost their dad, Brandon Blackstock, to cancer in August 2025.
Clarkson and Blackstock had divorced in 2022 after a lengthy and bitter legal battle, while he battled skin cancer.
Her final episode of her eponymous talk show aired on Sept. 1, during which she was joined by her kids.

“My kiddos have always come first, they’re a big reason I did this show, just [for] the stability, the schedule,” Clarkson said.
“They’re also a big reason it’s time to say goodbye,” she added. “I’m such a proud mama. They’re the greatest kiddos in the world.”
Back in August, a source told us, “Kelly has done everything she can to be there for River and Remy as they’ve navigated that loss.”
“Her focus has been making sure they feel loved, supported and as stable as possible while giving them the space to grieve in their own way.”
The “American Idol” winner hasn’t been gone from TV screens though.
In May, the former “Voice” coach announced that she would return to the competition series for Season 30.
Once the season premiered on Sept. 21, fans were delighted to see Clarkson coaching alongside Adam Levine, Queen Latifah, and Riley Green.
