The reunion between the New York Giants and former All-Pro wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was cut short earlier this week when the organization released him.
On Sunday, Beckham made his frustrations with his former team's decision to move on from him quite clear in a series of comments on social media.
Beckham's second stint in New York didn't amount to much, playing just six snaps with one target and no receptions this season.
Ultimately, the Giants organization and head coach John Harbaugh didn't see a path for Beckham to get on the field more often than he was, which resulted in him ultimately being released on Sept. 29.

This lack of playing time doesn't seem to be what Beckham envisioned in his return to New York, as he claimed on Instagram Sunday that the Giants "gave him the run along", which prevented him with potentially being an impactful player on another roster.
"Idk why they even gave me the run along," said Beckham in a series of lengthy comments on Instagram. "I coulda really been playing somewhere and making a impact. And I mean that from a person whose humbled by God and life. So all I'm doin is gettin ready for whatever God has for me."

It is certainly understandable for Beckham to feel this way given the situation he currently finds himself in.
Now, the three-time Pro Bowler will attempt to not only convince a team to sign him, but also could have an uphill battle to get any amount of playing time given that he will likely be coming into an unfamiliar situation with a new offensive scheme to learn with whatever team he may sign with next.
At 33 years old, the certain sure seems uncertain for Beckham. But based on these comments on social media, it sure seems like he remains committed to continuing his NFL journey with another team that could have a need for an experienced wide receiver.
