RuPaul’s Drag Race UK” is moving from the BBC and headed to World of Wonder‘s streaming platform WOW Presents Plus.

The news comes after The Sun reported that the show would be leaving the BBC as part of its cuts.

However, Variety can confirm that in Fall 2027, the franchise will return with the first ever “RuPaul’s Drag Race UK: All Stars,” celebrating the artistry of the Queens who have worked the U.K. runway.

The show’s eighth season, which just launched on BBC 3 scored its second-highest-rated premiere in the history of the franchise, trailing only Season 6 (which scored 9.0). The show bowed to an 8.8 IMDB rating with viewership up 20% on the streaming platform WOW Presents Plus.

This herstoric season of “All Stars” will be available globally on WOW Presents Plus including, for the first time, in the U.K. Subscribers will be able to stream all eight seasons of “RuPaul’s Drag Race UK” and all three seasons of “RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Vs The World.”

The successful launch of Season 8 follows a record-breaking run of the global franchise.

The main show, “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” recently finished its 18th season and was the most watched season in the franchise’s history.  Myki Meeks didn’t have the strongest start to the season, but after her fellow queens placed her at the bottom of the “Rate-A-Queen” twist, she exacted her revenge. In the end, it was Meeks who sashayed her way to the top and was crowned the winner of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 18. The show also landed 11 Emmy nominations for Season 18 and its aftershow, “RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked.”

The franchise continued to expand and grow with new seasons and formats of “Canada’s Drag Race,” “Drag Race Down Under,” “Drag Race Mexico” and “Drag Race France.” All premiered with significant double digit growth.

These milestones have been achieved at a challenging time and in an uncertain political climate. In a statement, co-founders of World of Wonder and “Drag Race” producers Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato said, “Historically, during times of anxiety and regression, the queer, trans and drag communities are often targeted. Today is no exception. We at World of Wonder are so grateful to our members for their support, and we remain steadfast in the values that make ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ more than just a fiercely entertaining show. For millions, it’s a lifeline, a safe space and a celebration, and WOW Presents Plus is incredibly proud to keep providing that platform.”
