A student opened fire at a school in Thailand's Nonthaburi province just north of Bangkok on Friday, according to a Reuters report citing police, who added that an unconfirmed number of people were killed.
The shooting rattled the Bang Kruai district, where authorities identified the suspected gunman as a student, per Reuters. Officials have not released additional details about the victims, suspect or potential motive as the investigation remains ongoing.
The latest school gunfire follows similar attacks this year, including the deadly shooting at a high school in British Columbia, Canada, in February.
