When I think about Mike Brown, my mind keeps coming back to J.K. Simmons in those Farmers Insurance commercials.
“At Farmers Insurance, we know a thing or two because we’ve seen a thing or two.”
Brown knows a thing or two because he’s seen a thing or two — and that’s why he has as good a chance as any coach to defy the NBA’s era of parity and lead the Knicks to a repeat championship.
He was a part of four championship teams as an assistant before leading the Knicks to a title last season — including the dynasty Warriors teams, who successfully went back-to-back in 2017 and ’18.
